Working Hard for da Money

Ut Oh…

So, if anyone tells you starting a web business is easy, don’t listen. I have been working for a year about 14 hrs a day 7 days a week. I have hardly seen friends, taught my kids to do laundry and dishes, and cleaned my house the base minimum just to be presentable.


All this work makes Laurie a DULL girl!

So, what is a girl to do when her brain is mush from emailin, callin, design changin, social media-in, sample requestin to do?


Why take funny pictures of herself of course.


I can not recommend it enough. So, if you own or are starting a business, step away from the puter at pick up your smartphone and click away.


I dont know about you, but it certainly relieves MY stress and makes me laugh at myself a little. It never is good to take yourself too seriously!

Writing to you from the Yacht Club….

So, about 2 years ago, we bought a small sailboat. We were lucky enough to get dock space on Lake Winnipesaukee. The yacht club has a pool, hot tub, grills, lounge chairs, AND FREE wifi and a business center. So, I can grab my coffee and laptop, jump in our MINI cooper convertible and roll over there with the top down and work my butt off while I stare out at the lake and mountains. Plus, the kids get to use the beach and pools and pretty much stay out of my hair.

We still have printers running in the print department and customer service people but I am seriously thinking of moving the whole facility here….What do you think?
