Happy 100th Birthday to Lucille Ball and Happy 10th Birthday to my daughter, Isabelle!

I remember watching re-runs of the I Love Lucy Show with my Grammy. We would chuckle over the all the antics of Lucy and Ethel and I swore that when I grew up, I would have people in my life like that!

And it turns out that I do….Happy Birthday to my daughter, Isabelle (we call her by many nicknames but Bella Boo is my favorite). She turned 10 today- even though it seems like just yesterday she was born. 

She is easy going and has a sense of humor that would make anyone giggle. We are so very proud to call her ours.

And to all the others sharing Miss Bella and Miss Lucy’s B-Day, Happy Birthday…make sure you live it up and have some cake!

Had just a fab, fab, fabULOUS weekend at Akwa Marina and Yacht Club in Laconia, NH

So, on our off time this summer we have been spending lots of time at the best marina and yacht club in NH. You should definitely check it out at www.akwamarina.com. We have a sailboat there and we certainly do love sailing BUT the people and the facilities just totally rock. They have a pool, hot tub and beach. The docks are fabulous for fishing and jumping off. And the best part? The people! Everyone is just so darn nice! The kids have become instant best friends with the kids there and we have made great friends that we will have for a lifetime.

I would have to say if you are ever in the area, you should totally check it out! I can promise you will fall in love as much as I have! And, there may even be a new customized wall coming to the game room…;)
